Georgia is becoming more and more popular country, people come here not only for vacation, to have a good vacation or weekend, but also for inspiration and filling with unforgettable impressions for a long time.

Imagine an amazing table has been set! There are so many things on it: khachapuri, pkhaleuli, khinkali ... It turns out that all this is already ready for a long time. Wine flows like a river. But this is not the main thing at the Georgian table, is it? - Toasts, communication, what communication!

Laughter, music, sincere conversations, after all, it is impossible to imagine a real Georgian table without sincere communication over a glass of good wine!

Khachapuri

The undisputed leader of the top is a pie stuffed with cheese - khachapuri, as it is popular with tourists and visitors.

Almost every region of Georgia has its own type of khachapuri. But the most famous of them are: Imeretian, Adjarian, Megrelian and Gurian. What are the regions! We can say that each village has its own recipe. And one tastes better than the other.

In the classic recipe, khachapuri is prepared with Imeretian cheese filling, and the dough is kneaded in mineral water.

Khinkali

There are several legends about how khinkali appeared in Georgia. Its attractive shape is already helping the imagination run wild. But how are these beautiful dough bags made?

The traditional way of consumption - to take by the tail, bite and drink juice - certainly does not leave anyone indifferent.

Khinkali is a truly delicious dish with a wonderful aromatic sauce and filling, but many do not know how and when its recipe was invented, how to eat khinkali correctly, how many folds it should have.

Eggplant

Anyone who has ever been to Georgia has probably heard about eggplants with nuts. This dish is quite simple: fried eggplant with peanut sauce, which is full of Georgian spices.

Eggplant with nuts is one of the most delicious dishes of Georgian cuisine, which is often prepared on holidays. Imagining Georgian cuisine without eggplant is like stripping a stool of one leg.

To prepare this dish you will need: eggplants, walnuts, onions, pomegranates, garlic, fresh cilantro, dried ground cilantro, red ground pepper, salt, utskho-suneli seasoning and sunflower oil.

Phali

Phali is again about nuts. Various vegetables are boiled, chopped and mixed with ground walnuts and Georgian spices. Phali made from spinach, beetroot and lobio are especially popular.

Do you know what pkhali (mkhali) is?

One of the oldest dishes of Georgian cuisine, it is an appetizer or, less often, a side dish of vegetables, herbs, and root vegetables.

The dish is the simplest, it is prepared elementary, it tastes wonderful.

In general, pkhali in Georgian is a type of collard greens, with which it is believed that everything began many centuries ago. Today phali is one of the visiting cards of our sunny country, with a huge variety of "design", affordability and the ability to easily adapt it to your own taste preferences.

Lobio

On a real Georgian table, lobio is one of the main dishes, and in Georgian families it is cooked very often. Naturally, it is quite popular with visitors as well.

Translated from Georgian "lobio" is simply "beans" (beans of a special kind, tender shell). There are as many options for making a signature Georgian lobio as there are regions in Georgia.
